DEPUTY HEADTEACHER, KABALAGALA CAMPUS’
MR. BUSULWA RONALD
On behalf of Janan Schools, we salute you all in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In a special way.I wish to take this opportunity to greatly appreciate the genuine effort, dedication, commitment and team work that both the teaching and non teaching staff have put in the school to ensure it’s smooth running.
I would also like to thank all the parents for the tireless effort they have put in to clear the school dues and also for the commitment they show by turning up for meetings whenever called upon. My sincere thanks go to the parents of senior four candidates who started with us in from the beginning to date. Ebenezer – This is how far the Lord has brought us Parents, thank you for loving Janan.
A vote of thanks goes to the stakeholder and board members for the tireless effort they have invested in to the school to ensure that Janan runs with this devotion, the school pledges to continue in Lime Light of equipping the student with quality education which speaks about the motto and core values on which the school was founded.
The school motto says “We strive to excel” This motto boosts the ego of the students to satisfy aims of school. Their grip on books should not be loosened so as to attain excellent performance.
Our core values which are time management, Religious, Speaking English, Academic excellence and promoting Discipline help the boys and girls to grow holistically into principled and upright women and men of integrity.
The motto and the core values therefore give the students the zeal to work hard. The highly disciplined nature of our students and the determined staff to uphold the culture has seen Janan s.s moving to greater heights. We have always used discipline as our students and the determined staff to uphold the culture has seen Janan S.S moving to greater heights.
We have always used discipline as our strongest tool to achieve in other areas yet when you talk about discipline very few people especially candidates want to hear this word.
This word is often misunderstood and misused by students and parents. But we have found discipline very necessary at Janan. It is part and parcel of school life and makes abig percentage of the teacher’s Job.
Discipline is far beyond mere application of correct action. We strongly belive that educating someone in mind and not the morals is to educate a menace to society. It is only a person with discipline that can have respect for self and other people. Therefore a disciplined person is one whose conduct and attitude are accepted in the the society in which one lives.
To impart discipline involves setting the right pattern and holiday onto it. To us it means saying what is to be done and implementing it. It calls for the application of gentle but determined pressure where necessary. As teachers, we therefore have the responsibility to teach, guide, counse and lead our boys and girls, filling up the gap that may have.
When you stop to learn, you start to die, so goes an ancient saying, urging and inspiring us to be in a continual stance of learning, to always be readyto better our skills and hone our abilities in an ever changing world that presents ever evolving challenges, this is one way to continually be relevant. been created by them spending too much of their time in school.
we also want you to know that we don’t prepare our students only for exams but also for the worked after school.
What our readers should always bare in mind is that Janan Secondary school is a christain founded institution name after the late Arch Bishop Janan Lumum so emphasis is not only put on academics and displine but in prayer too. This is because we believe that the “fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom”
“We Strive to excel For God and my Country.
